Key responsibilities & impact

Run hands-on bootcamps at customer sites, building working AI agents on real customer problems in five days
Take AI agent builds live for customers to use in real business
Agree on clear goals with each customer and demonstrate results to support expansion
Train customers' teams to build independently
Turn builds into reusable components for teammates
Share field learnings with the product team
Build and run custom demos for prospective customers alongside sales leads
Lead bootcamps and technical conversations with senior underwriters and actuaries
Act as a technical advisor across sales cycles and beyond
Translate between modern cloud architectures and complex legacy systems
Partner with Sales and Product Engineering to deliver technical wins and guide product direction

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years writing production code in Python for large or regulated businesses
Recent, hands-on experience building with AI agents
Habit of checking AI agent output before anyone relies on it
Confidence in front of expert, skeptical customers
Examples of customer feedback changing what you built
Experience owning an outcome, not just following a spec
Drive to push things through without being asked
Customer-facing engineering experience at an AI company
Public examples of things you've built
Insurance, actuarial or pricing experience is not required; hx will teach it
Ability and willingness to work from the office 2–3 days per week as part of a hybrid working model
Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
