About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take customer problems from discovery to production inside a pod
Engage directly with customers, frame problems, and ship incrementally based on customer feedback
Direct AI agents to draft implementations, tests, and migrations
Review, integrate, and harden AI-generated work while owning correctness and maintainability
Design and deliver robust production systems with attention to correctness, performance, and resource efficiency
Build tests and observability for safe evolution of complex behavior
Work across the codebase, including front end, back end, data, and infrastructure
Move between pods, problems, and streams as priorities change
Ramp quickly on unfamiliar domains and codebases
Take accountability for outcomes, raise risks early, and make decisions rather than escalating

Requirements

What you’ll need

Built and shipped production systems end-to-end, from design through rollout, monitoring, and iteration
Experience designing testing and observability for complex behavior
Experience in a polyglot environment and ability to learn unfamiliar languages, domains, and codebases quickly
Strong systems experience, for example in Rust, C/C++, or Python, valued
Experience working outside your strongest layer of the stack, including front end, data, or infrastructure
Experience using AI tools as a serious part of software development
Ability to direct, review, and take responsibility for AI-generated work
Product and design judgment applied to engineering work
Ability to make sensible decisions under ambiguity and own outcomes beyond immediate tasks
Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders
Able to work from the office 2–3 days per week in a hybrid model
Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
