About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead structural design and analysis of prefab printed elements, reinforcement layouts, and 3D-printed formwork in compliance with Eurocodes and EN standards
Author, review, and validate calculation reports and technical documentation packages
Perform structural calculations covering load paths, soil-structure interactions, stability, and serviceability
Update and expand the structural product catalogue into a standardized library of 3D-printable products and elements
Own structural engineering work packages across R&D initiatives and client projects
Optimize concepts for cost, manufacturability, durability, and sustainability
Respond to client technical questions
Prepare and lead Factory Production Control and CE-marking documentation, including Declarations of Performance, Initial Type Testing, and compliance certificates
Collaborate with Sales on structural feasibility and cost assessments for client proposals
Supervise laboratory material testing and site testing
Support external audits with certification bodies
Mentor junior engineers, participate in design reviews, and contribute to internal engineering standards and knowledge repositories
Collaborate with robotics, production, sales, and cross-disciplinary engineering teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field
Solid professional experience in structural design and analysis, operating independently at a senior level
Proficiency in structural analysis software, preferably GSA or equivalent FEM tools
Skills with CAD and Rhino/Grasshopper
Ability to produce and validate complete construction drawings, reinforcement schedules, and signed calculation reports with minimal supervision
Experience owning the structural scope of a system or project
Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes, including EN 14991 and EN 206
Knowledge of geotechnical interactions, soil-structure interface, and foundation design
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Growth mindset and openness to giving and receiving feedback
English CV and portfolio submission required
BIM tools, material testing, FPC documentation, CE-marking processes, digital fabrication, 3D concrete printing, and advanced precast manufacturing are advantageous
