Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete the CNC Fundamentals course through Hypertherm Associates' Technical Training Institute (HTTI), approximately 4 weeks on 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm
  • Produce machined parts for plasma cutting systems
  • Perform machining, assembly, and packaging tasks in an assigned manufacturing area
  • Use standard work instructions
  • Work with team members in a collaborative manufacturing environment
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to reduce environmental impacts, enhance quality, reduce cost, and increase shared profits

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Comfort and interest in working with technology, including experience and familiarity using MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and Windows Operating Systems
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability and willingness to learn technical material in a school-like setting
  • Excitement about working with a team and within our collaborative ownership culture
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow and process instructions
  • Basic math understanding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment
  • Standing for extended periods - 8-hour shifts
