About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the direct point of contact for colleagues at the Lübeck site regarding IT questions and issues
  • Analyze incidents and support users through to successful resolution
  • Prepare, install, and configure notebooks and peripheral devices
  • Issue, retrieve, and ship hardware
  • Provide the necessary technical equipment for new colleagues
  • Support IT onboarding and ensure the smooth return of hardware during offboarding
  • Support colleagues working from home or at locations without dedicated local support
  • Provide telephone IT support on a rotating basis
  • Handle requests relating to central applications, including cloud-based office telephony and password management
  • Document solutions, processing status, and relevant information in the ticketing system in a structured manner
  • Constructively challenge existing processes and contribute ideas for process improvement
  • Take on and further develop additional areas of responsibility and IT services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training, ideally in IT; alternatively, commercial or comparable training
  • Several years of practical experience in IT user support, helpdesk, or a similar role
  • Career changers with relevant IT experience are welcome
  • Confident use of Windows and macOS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Microsoft Teams and Outlook
  • Experience with ticketing or service management systems and structured documentation
  • Ability to guide users through technical issues clearly and in a solution-oriented manner, in person, by phone, or remotely
  • Strong organizational skills and a high level of ownership
  • Very good German language skills, at least C1 level
  • Good English language skills, at least B2 level
