About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the direct point of contact for colleagues at the Lübeck site regarding IT questions and issues
  • Analyze and resolve workplace-related incidents
  • Prepare, install, and configure notebooks and peripheral devices
  • Issue, collect, and ship hardware
  • Provide the technical equipment required for new colleagues
  • Support IT onboarding and ensure the smooth return of hardware during offboarding
  • Support colleagues working from home or at locations without local support
  • Take turns providing telephone IT support
  • Handle requests relating to central applications, particularly cloud-based office telephony and password management
  • Document solutions, progress, and information in the ticketing system in a structured manner
  • Constructively challenge and improve existing support processes
  • Take on additional areas of responsibility and further develop central IT services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training, ideally in IT; alternatively, a commercial or comparable qualification
  • Several years of practical experience in IT user support, helpdesk, or a similar role
  • Career changers with relevant IT experience are welcome
  • Confident user of Windows and macOS
  • Confident user of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Microsoft Teams and Outlook
  • Experience with ticketing or service management systems and structured documentation
  • Ability to handle technical requests clearly and solution-orientated, whether in person, by phone, or remotely
  • Independent, responsible, and organized approach to work
  • Very good German language skills, at least C1 level
  • Good English language skills, at least B2 level
