About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary contact for colleagues at the Lübeck site regarding IT-related questions and issues
- Analyze incidents and support users through to successful resolution
- Prepare, install, and configure notebooks and peripheral devices
- Issue, retrieve, and ship hardware
- Provide technical equipment for new colleagues and support IT onboarding
- Organize hardware returns during offboarding
- Support colleagues working from home or at locations without dedicated local support
- Take turns providing telephone-based IT support
- Handle requests relating to central applications, including cloud-based office telephony and password management
- Document solutions, case status, and information in the ticketing system in a structured manner
- Constructively challenge existing processes and contribute ideas for process improvement
- Take on and further develop additional areas of responsibility within User Support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training, ideally in IT; alternatively, commercial or comparable training
- Several years of practical experience in IT user support, helpdesk, or a similar role
- Career changers with relevant IT experience are welcome
- Proficient with Windows and macOS
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Experience with ticketing or service management systems and structured documentation
- Ability to guide users through technical issues clearly and solution-oriented, in person, by phone, or remotely
- Strong organizational skills and willingness to take ownership
- Very good German skills at a minimum C1 level
- Good English skills at a minimum B2 level
