About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain company-wide or cross-functional business-domain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI or similar
Partner closely with teams in Supply Chain, Product Sourcing, Procurement, Warehouse, Traffic, and Manufacturing to understand business processes, reporting needs, and strategic priorities
Develop automated reporting and data pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
Create and maintain documentation for data models, transformations, and reporting logic
Define project scope, gather requirements, create timelines, manage backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of BI products
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key business drivers, and translate findings into actionable insights
Lead complex projects, influence partners, and communicate effectively at technical and executive levels
Establish and enforce data governance, validation rules, and transformation logic to ensure data consistency across systems
Collaborate with the data engineering team to optimize data pipelines, ensure data quality, and improve data availability

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience with traditional data warehouse architectures, such as centralized data warehouse and data mart
Strong SQL skills and proficiency in data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling, semantic design)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or similar
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into data solutions
Solid understanding of historical, snapshot, and incremental data processing patterns
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Databricks/Hive/Snowflake schemas)
Exposure to data science tools or methodologies (Python, R, machine learning concepts, Databricks, Snowflake)
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., DBT, Fivetran, Informatica, Azure Data Factory), Alteryx, and Jira
Proven experience managing data-driven initiatives using project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)
PMP or Scrum Master certification is a plus
