About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install, configure, and maintain middleware technologies including Apache NiFi, Redis, Nginx, Hadoop Ecosystem, and related tools
Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes container platforms
Monitor performance, availability, and health of middleware services
Perform patching, upgrades, backups, and recovery procedures
Troubleshoot application connectivity, data flows, caching, and web-serving issues
Implement basic security configurations and access controls
Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and configuration tools
Support development and operations teams
Strengthen monitoring, alerting, performance degradation management, and emergency intervention
Participate in stability efforts including BCP drills, emergency mitigation, and post-incident reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi, Redis, Nginx, Kubernetes, and Kafka
Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and Bash shell scripting
Familiarity with Docker and basic cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
Understanding of networking, load balancing, TLS/SSL, and security best practices
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
Understanding of distributed system architecture and microservice design preferred
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
Relevant certifications such as Kubernetes Certified Administrator or Redis Certified Developer preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience in middleware or application administration
