Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional development experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack engineering
As a Senior Engineer: take responsibility for systems, domains, and architectural decisions through to production operations
Use AI agents as an integral part of the engineering workflow, including context, tools, review loops, and accountability for production code
Excellent expertise in at least one area: frontend, backend, or full-stack
Ability to work beyond your own technical discipline
Ability to assess the effort, value, feasibility, and risks of technical options and make well-founded recommendations
As a Senior Engineer: design solutions directly with customers
Share knowledge within the team and during reviews
As a Senior Engineer: strengthen other engineers technically and create reusable solutions
Frontend: a strong sense of good UX
Backend: build interfaces people enjoy using
Fluent German for customer-facing work
Confident English skills
Frontend expertise in TypeScript, React/Next.js or Vue/Nuxt, modern CSS, design systems, WCAG, performance, and REST/GraphQL
Backend expertise in TypeScript with Node.js/NestJS or Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and REST/GraphQL
Elixir/Phoenix is a plus
Willingness and ability to build expertise in agentic development beyond your own discipline
Interest in and ability to measure impact, define target metrics, and implement observability
Developing AI applications with LLM integration, RAG, evaluation, and guardrails as a skill to be further developed
