About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a subject matter expert on IFRS accounting standards for internal Finance teams and partners
- Lead strategic and complex accounting positions while balancing regulatory requirements, risk management and business needs
- Demonstrate leadership in projects and strategic mandates with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor new accounting and regulatory standards, assess their impact and support implementation
- Prepare and contribute to financial statement models and quality control of public financial statements
- Prepare and review internal and external financial information, including management reports, senior-management presentations and strategic financial documents
- Analyze and review financial information to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than five years of relevant experience, including experience analyzing accounting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Recognized CPA designation
- Good knowledge of IFRS
- Sound professional judgment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in French at an advanced level
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking and strategic mindset
- Resourcefulness, agility and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Ability to positively influence others and exercise sound judgment in complex environments
