About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead data governance and stewardship across the wealth management business
  • Establish standards for how data is defined, managed, and used
  • Own data quality and integrity, including metadata, business glossaries, data lineage, classification, retention, and critical data elements
  • Partner across business, technology, compliance, and operations to identify data issues and improve processes
  • Ensure consistent data practices
  • Support regulatory, privacy, and risk requirements
  • Ensure business data is properly governed and meets Canadian wealth management standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years in wealth management and/or data management
  • 5+ years working with wealth management data
  • 5–10 years of experience in wealth management business data
  • Understanding of data governance principles, data risk, and data management
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in both technical and business contexts
  • Ability to translate business concepts to technical language
  • Proven track record of taking ownership, driving initiatives to completion, and delivering results
  • Strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills
  • French/English bilingualism is an asset
