About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a trusted advisor in analyzing, defining, and evolving business requirements
- Ensure alignment with strategic and technology directions
- Design, document, and recommend functional and system solutions for internal clients
- Consider sustainability, performance, security, and integration within the existing ecosystem
- Define and structure business requirements, functional rules, data transformation rules, interfaces, reports, and dashboards
- Analyze functional, operational, and system impacts of proposed changes
- Prepare and present recommendations and solution scenarios to diverse audiences
- Liaise between business sectors, delivery teams, technology partners, and external vendors
- Evaluate new applications, features, and technology capabilities
- Oversee testing strategies and support users in validating and adopting solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement and technology transformation initiatives
- Ensure the quality of functional deliverables
- Provide functional leadership or product ownership when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Functional Architect in the accounting field
- Strong understanding of ERP solutions, preferably Oracle, within a financial environment
- Solid understanding of accounting processes
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Excellent command of French
- Intermediate level of English
- Ability to analyze and prepare reports in English
- Ability to collaborate with English-speaking partners daily
