About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support regulatory compliance activities, regulatory analyses, and initiatives
  • Contribute to implementation and monitoring of regulatory compliance activities
  • Participate in internal control testing and process documentation
  • Assist in preparing regulatory reports and management presentations
  • Research regulatory changes and assess their impacts
  • Collaborate with internal departments at iA Dealer Services, subsidiaries, and entities across iA Financial Group
  • Provide support to the First Line of Defense (1 LOD / 1A)
  • Draft or update policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Reorganize and manage information in SharePoint
  • Support data analysis and create presentations or reports using Power BI, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Manage, analyze, and summarize emails and information related to compliance activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset and ability to structure and synthesize information to assess regulatory issues and support decision-making
  • Strong professional curiosity and interest in compliance, regulation, and the insurance industry
  • Knowledge of Power BI or strong interest in developing skills with this tool
  • Intermediate English proficiency required
  • Ability to review and analyze regulatory documentation from various provinces
  • Ability to communicate with English-speaking internal partners weekly
