About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve the product roadmap with business and technology teams
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize user and stakeholder needs to maximize business value
- Maintain a structured product backlog aligned with strategic objectives
- Determine priorities and sequence initiatives based on value, risks, dependencies, and delivery capacity
- Understand user journeys, identify pain points, and validate solution hypotheses using data and field observations
- Structure and manage the backlog in Azure DevOps, including epics, features, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and quality specialists to deliver initiatives
- Monitor execution, coordinate dependencies, and approve production releases while ensuring quality and risk management
- Measure product performance and recommend continuous improvements
- Use artificial intelligence tools to optimize analyses, documentation, and decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least five years of experience in information technology, including at least two years in product ownership or an equivalent role
- Hands-on product management experience, including discovery, roadmap development, value-based prioritization, incremental delivery, and benefits measurement
- Ability to interpret usage and operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Hands-on experience using generative artificial intelligence in product activities or the software development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or a comparable backlog management tool
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment
- Advanced proficiency in French
- Intermediate proficiency in English
- Ability to communicate monthly by email and telephone with English-speaking vendors across Canada
