About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify disability claims with strong rehabilitation potential and develop strategies that support a successful return to work
Support insured individuals by directing them to the services and resources needed for their recovery and return to the workforce
Develop and implement action plans in collaboration with case managers, employers, healthcare professionals, and insured individuals
Conduct virtual and in-person meetings
Prepare clear reports and ensure claim documentation is updated accurately and consistently
Monitor rehabilitation activities and outcomes for the claims under your responsibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

Recognized for strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, effective priority management, and a client-focused approach
Demonstrates strong analytical skills and sound judgment when managing complex situations
Recognized for autonomy, a collaborative spirit, and a solution-oriented approach
Has 2 to 3 years of experience in rehabilitation, direct intervention, counselling, case management, or a related profession
Holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, occupational therapy, kinesiology, or a rehabilitation-related field
Has a strong knowledge of medical terminology, social legislation, insurance law, and disability-related regulations
Advanced proficiency in English is required
Must communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with insured individuals, employers, healthcare professionals, and various stakeholders across Canada
