About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design robust, high-performing, secure, and scalable application solutions
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions aligned with architectural direction
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and business partners on implementation strategies
- Ensure design integrity throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Support teams in implementing solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions, design reviews, and technology choices
- Identify risks, dependencies, and cross-system impacts
- Support teams in resolving complex production incidents
- Improve operational stability
- Ensure compliance with development, security, architecture, and operational standards
- Maintain comprehensive and current technical documentation
- Act as a technical resource and promote knowledge sharing
- Adopt and promote generative AI tools including Copilot and Claude
- Identify and share AI best practices, encourage experimentation, and support colleagues’ AI proficiency
- Measure and demonstrate productivity, quality, and efficiency gains from AI use
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Holistic understanding of application ecosystems
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong, engaging leadership and ability to influence without formal authority
- Expertise in solution design, distributed architectures, APIs, and integration
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, particularly .NET and SQL Server
- Minimum 10 years of experience in information technology
- At least 5 years of experience in solution design or application architecture
- Experience in complex environments involving multiple integrated systems is ideal
- Advanced proficiency in both French and English
- Ability to collaborate daily with unilingual English-speaking partners, teams, and stakeholders across Canada
