About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform audit engagements as part of a team or independently
  • Establish timelines with the engagement team and Management, and ensure they are met
  • Conduct analyses and tests of information technology governance and internal controls
  • Ensure audit work meets the team’s quality standards
  • Prepare audit results for presentation to Management
  • Draft reports communicating findings to the Audit Committee

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Data analysis skills and an analytical mindset
  • Excellent listening, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to see the big picture and explain complex information in clear, accessible terms
  • Thoroughness, autonomy, transparency, and strong organizational skills
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience
  • University degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, or currently pursuing one
  • Recognized IT audit certification, such as CISA or CRISC, or currently pursuing one
  • Good knowledge of IT risk management frameworks (COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of ITGC and ITAC risks and controls
  • CISSP is a significant asset
  • Degree in IT risk management, IT audit, IT governance, cybersecurity, or information technology is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency in English
  • Student position / temporary position
