About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for operational processes in finance and accounting
Ensuring efficient financial and liquidity management
Serving as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks and internal departments
Preparing reports, analyses and plans
Supporting and further developing controlling activities, including budget planning, forecasts and budget-versus-actual analyses
Preparing project financial statements for international projects
Supporting administrative HR tasks
Collaborating with management in an internationally oriented consulting firm

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least two years of professional experience in finance and accounting or controlling within a medium-sized company
Sound knowledge of accounting, finance and controlling
Experience with the financial reporting and administrative support of publicly funded projects is an advantage
Initial experience in human resources (HR) is desirable
Good written and spoken English required
Experience with Odoo or comparable ERP and financial accounting systems is an advantage
Proactive and independent working style
Analytical, structured and solutions-oriented approach
Strong communication skills
Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel
