About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsibility for operational finance and accounting processes
- Ensuring efficient financial and liquidity management
- Serving as a point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks, and internal departments
- Preparing reports, analyses, and plans
- Supporting and further developing the controlling function, including budget planning, forecasting, and budget-versus-actual analyses
- Preparing project accounting and financial reports for the company’s international projects
- Supporting administrative HR tasks
- Working closely with senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least two years of professional experience in finance and accounting or controlling within a medium-sized company
- Sound knowledge of accounting, finance, and controlling
- Experience with the financial reporting and administrative support of publicly funded projects is an advantage
- Initial experience in human resources (HR) is desirable
- Good written and spoken English required
- Experience with Odoo or comparable ERP/financial accounting systems is an advantage
- Proactive and independent working style
- Analytical, structured, solution-oriented, and strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
