About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support oversight of the AVANGRID IT portfolio of projects in accordance with Global IT metrics, industry processes and standards
Oversee various programs and projects and provide relationship management on behalf of AVANGRID IT
Support business and IT departments with funding of approved projects
Support demand management processes and standards with the PMO Team
Partner with project managers to improve project delivery, reporting, PMO metrics and knowledge of project reporting in Clarity
Schedule and participate in project update meetings covering milestones, progress, highlights and risks
Provide training and guidance for new project managers
Build and maintain productive relationships with project managers
Identify and implement process improvements to improve project delivery reporting
Work with Local, Global and IBERDROLA PMO teams, project managers, directors and Shared Services Financial Team to support successful delivery and consistent financial reporting
Influence adherence to PM standards and processes
Engage IT Managers to manage expectations and ensure timely deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or a relevant related field of study and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Basic understanding of the CAPEX budget process and impacts to PMO metrics and deliverables
Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Suite products
Solid skills working with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Prior experience working cross functionally
Proven ability to promote and consolidate efficient team working relationships
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Travel as required
