Structure and lead project mobilization, aligning objectives, scope, deliverables, owners, assumptions, acceptance criteria, governance, and communication
Plan, maintain, and monitor the project schedule, considering effort, team capacity, milestones, critical path, and dependencies
Plan team mobilization and allocation
Coordinate the provision of access, environments, data, integrations, and authorizations
Structure and manage the backlog
Coordinate squad activities, monitoring deliverables, blockers, risks, dependencies, and decisions
Manage risks, issues, scope changes, and dependencies
Control the project budget, including the costs of services, platforms, and cloud environments
Foster alignment between business and technology
Lead follow-up meetings, status reports, steering committees, and decision-making forums
Coordinate user acceptance testing and sign-off processes
Communicate project status to the client and leadership
Ensure project documentation governance
Plan and coordinate the transition to operations, support, or subsequent phases
Work on the implementation and enhancement of a data platform, covering mobilization, technical preparation, data ingestion, processing, transformation, delivery, and consumption
Coordinate a multidisciplinary squad comprising Architecture, Data Engineering, and Requirements Analysis, interacting with business teams and technology partners

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, with a mandatory track record in Data, BI, Analytics, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse projects
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams involving Data Engineering and Data Architecture
Solid knowledge of planning, management, scheduling, budgeting, risks, issues, dependencies, scope, and change management
Conceptual knowledge of data architectures and pipelines, including loading, transformation, quality, storage, and consumption
Familiarity with Cloud Computing architectures and services, as well as integrations between cloud and on-premises systems
Ability to understand dependencies related to networking, security, identity, permissions, environments, and data sources
Experience defining and tracking acceptance criteria, user acceptance testing, and delivery evidence
Experience with Agile and/or Hybrid methodologies and frameworks, using practices such as Scrum and Kanban
Experience with backlog management, planning, and tracking tools such as Jira and MS Project
Ability to prepare and present executive status updates, metrics, risks, action plans, and decision-making information
Strong documentation and decision, change, risk, and issue traceability skills
Clear and objective communication, suitable for technical and executive stakeholders as well as business teams
Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
Negotiation and conflict management skills
Critical thinking and a systems perspective
Proactive profile focused on anticipating risks and blockers
Ability to work autonomously with a strong sense of ownership
Collaborative leadership

PMP and/or Scrum certifications are a plus
