About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute test plans
- Assist in structuring the automated testing function and disseminating this knowledge
- Ensure the quality of software development team deliverables
- Handle critical internal and external services
- Perform acceptance, compatibility, regression, functional, and non-functional testing, including exploratory, connectivity, security, stress, and load testing
- Maintain system cycles in defined environments, including daily, monthly, batch, and interface routines
- Plan, manage, and execute tests using specialized automation and performance testing tools
- Perform security testing and validation, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing improvements
- Evaluate non-functional performance requirements using specialized tools and monitors
- Produce technical test documentation, including plans, test cases, evidence, and test data sets
- Create scripts using specialized tools and execute automated tests with variable data sets (datapools)
- Identify test targets and measure the results of each testing cycle
- Prepare periodic reports for the department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or any bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Computer Science or Information Technology (minimum 360 hours)
- Solid technical experience in the role, working with system integration and support in PHP environments
- Experience managing, planning, and executing tests
- Practical experience with automated testing using Playwright
- Strong knowledge of testing techniques, defect identification, and test management and bug-tracking tools
- Ability to structure an automated testing function (a plus)
- Strong communication, proactivity, organization, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work effectively on a team while receiving constructive feedback
