About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with Admissions and clinicians to ensure intakes are completed for prospective families/clients
- Conduct initial assessments using standardized tools such as Vineland, ABAS-2, MBA, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, ABLLS, PEAK, Socially Savvy, MAS, QABF, FAST, etc.
- Ensure the appropriate transition of cases after the initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and the receiving team
- Provide a maximum of 3 initial assessments per week in home and clinical environments
- Conduct peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours
- Train staff on conducting initial skills and adaptive assessments
Requirements
What you’ll need- BCBA certification
- 3+ years of experience in the field supervising others
- Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
