About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee all aspects of projects
- Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize project progress
- Prepare reports for upper management regarding project status
- Lead strategic planning, budgeting, staffing performance, and staffing selection efforts
- Formulate, communicate, and enforce quality work standards
- Monitor progress and resolve issues affecting successful product/service delivery
- Ensure compliance with administrative, personnel, labor, and contractual requirements
- Serve as primary point of contact with government contract and program management staff for project-status reporting
- Assign schedules, review work discrepancies, supervise personnel, and communicate organizational policies, purposes, and goals
- Maintain governance documentation, action logs, rosters, and participation records
- Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagements, and follow-up activities
- Conduct research and analysis supporting policy and engagement objectives
- Develop reports, dashboards, schedules, and process documentation
- Track actions, risks, milestones, and project deliverables
- Support data collection and performance measurement activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7 years of applicable experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
- Master’s degree
- PMP Certification
- Experience drafting white papers, strategic planning documents, guidance documents, or other project documentation
- Ability to leverage AI and review its output for accuracy and applicability
- Ability to communicate with senior government clients, lead discussions, discuss project status, and propose solutions
- Experience collaborating with clients to develop expectations, roles, and requirements for short- and long-term projects
- Ability to communicate and collaborate on a team in a dynamic environment
- Ability to absorb and apply mission knowledge and maintain a mindset of learning and continuous improvement
- Experience serving Federal clients, particularly FDA
- Experience working in consulting firm environments
