About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop technology strategy in collaboration with Federal executives, business SMEs, and key stakeholders
- Build trust relationships with business stakeholders to understand concerns, mission, and needs
- Lead meetings with senior client leadership to discover current state, business processes, requirements, pain points, aspirations, and goals
- Develop technology presentations and communicate complex technology choices, trade-offs, and considerations
- Work with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and team members to determine business needs and develop solution approaches, architecture, and strategy
- Develop governance, operating models, CONOPS, and processes to support the business mission
- Evaluate technology platforms and perform analysis of alternatives; present findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Document as-is and to-be architecture diagrams, business process flows, flow charts, and decision trees
- Participate in project discussions and team meetings, including daily standups and reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize ServiceNow development activities
- Support implementation requirements, design, testing, and delivery of tracking and reporting tools
- Define system requirements and design approaches with IT system stakeholders and internal SMEs
- Understand client processes and procedures and assist with technology improvements
- Lead and manage rapid development and implementation of prototypes and proofs-of-concept
- Identify service requirements through rapport with clients and relevant stakeholders
- Document project plans, architecture diagrams, and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Must be a US Citizen as required by the federal government
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- BS degree from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of Project Management experience
- 4+ years of experience working with low-code/no-code platforms such as ServiceNow
- 5+ years of experience leading technology consulting engagements with clients
- 4+ years of Federal experience
- Certified Scrum Master (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (preferred)
- Good understanding of system architecture and design principles
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM) principles
- In-depth understanding of ServiceNow best practices and industry trends
- Understanding of federal government security and compliance rules such as NIST, RMF, eMASS, DoDM 8140, IL4/IL5 concepts
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Conflict resolution skills to mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate delivery
