About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor progress of renewable energy programme implementation
  • Coordinate with BREDA, NBPDCL, SBPDCL, and implementing agencies
  • Support project tracking, inspections, and commissioning activities
  • Maintain programme MIS and reporting systems
  • Assist in dashboard development and analytics
  • Conduct field visits and implementation reviews
  • Support vendor monitoring and stakeholder engagement
  • Prepare technical reports and programme updates
  • Participate in training and awareness programs
  • Support impact assessment and evaluation activities
  • Work closely with the client, internal PMU colleagues, and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor, or technology stakeholders
  • Maintain work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars, and supporting records
  • Produce clear, accurate, decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards
  • Follow approved access and information-security requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector
  • Experience in at least one renewable energy project
  • Ability to coordinate with BREDA, NBPDCL, SBPDCL, and implementing agencies
  • Ability to conduct field visits and implementation reviews
  • Ability to maintain programme MIS and reporting systems
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and programme updates
  • Ability to handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal, and stakeholder information confidentially
  • Ability to undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required
