About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support programme monitoring and implementation tracking for PM Surya Ghar, PM-KUSUM, and state renewable energy initiatives in Maharashtra
- Coordinate with MEDA, MSEDCL, vendors, and district stakeholders
- Track approvals, inspections, and commissioning milestones
- Maintain project and beneficiary databases
- Support dashboard preparation and performance analytics
- Conduct field verification and monitoring activities
- Assist in vendor performance reviews
- Support management reporting and review meetings
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations and training programmes
- Assist in impact assessments and programme evaluations
- Work closely with the client, internal PMU colleagues, and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor, or technology stakeholders
- Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars, and supporting records
- Produce clear, accurate, and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal, and stakeholder information confidentially
- Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Master's Degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy sector
- Experience in at least one renewable energy project
- Ability to coordinate with MEDA, MSEDCL, vendors, and district stakeholders
- Ability to track approvals, inspections, and commissioning milestones
- Ability to maintain project and beneficiary databases
- Ability to conduct field verification and monitoring activities
- Ability to handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal, and stakeholder information confidentially
- Ability to follow approved access and information-security requirements
- Willingness to undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required
