About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support renewable energy program implementation and monitoring activities in Chhattisgarh and Tripura
- Work within the respective State Energy Department
- Support the Renewable Energy Expert/Team Leader in monitoring renewable energy programs and projects
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and performance indicators
- Support implementation monitoring of PMSGMBY and PM-KUSUM initiatives
- Collect, analyze, and report project data and progress updates
- Identify implementation challenges and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation
- Coordinate with State Energy Departments, DISCOMs, Renewable Energy Development Agencies, and other stakeholders
- Facilitate coordination between government departments and implementing agencies
- Support meetings, workshops, consultations, and field monitoring activities
- Assist with training and capacity-building programs for government officials and utility personnel
- Provide technical support related to renewable energy project implementation and monitoring
- Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and dissemination of best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with renewable energy companies in India
- Experience assisting state-owned power utilities or renewable energy development agencies in monitoring or managing at least one renewable energy project
- Experience supporting renewable energy project implementation, monitoring, or advisory assignments
- Understanding of renewable energy technologies and project implementation
- Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with government agencies and multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong report-writing and presentation skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently in a full-time deployment role within a government environment
