About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze DHS stakeholders’ current business processes, identify pain points, and gather requirements for a Salesforce-based solution
Translate business needs into user stories, workflows, and system requirements for low-code/no-code Salesforce Government Cloud development
Prioritize and refine the product backlog with the project team
Create process flows, requirements specifications, user guides, and gate-review deliverables
Assist with user training for the new Salesforce system
Support DoD and federal security and compliance standards, including cybersecurity documentation for ATO approval
Facilitate communication among stakeholders, developers, and team members
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and reviews
Support system and acquisition lifecycle gate reviews to meet DHS standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years as a Business Analyst, including at least one Salesforce project
Public Trust or an Active Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship
Must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and perform all work in the U.S.
Must have lived in the U.S. for three full years out of the last five years
3+ years of experience and proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello and Microsoft Office Suite
1+ years of experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation
Understanding of DoD and federal government security standards and experience supporting ATO processes
Experience working with federal government clients, particularly DHS or DoD
Familiarity with Salesforce functionality and use cases
Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce Administrator certification, or meaningful Trailhead badge attainment
Background in data migration projects
Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, attention-to-detail, written communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
