About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Craft thorough and comprehensive test scripts for user stories
- Ensure high standards of quality across work products
- Recommend QA best practices
- Provide detailed test results to the development team
- Explain test results to developers
- Complete testing within each sprint using agile methodologies and time management
- Work directly with stakeholders and the technical team via phone, web conference, and MS Teams
- Provide detailed pass/fail documentation for all work products
- Navigate the application and ensure understanding of end-state functionality before work enters a sprint
- Test across two small applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizenship is required
- Active Public Trust Clearance (any agency)
- Must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
- Must reside in the United States and perform the work in the United States
- 3+ years of experience in IT
- 3+ years of experience testing all product backlog items and providing pass/fail documentation for each item
- 3+ years of experience developing and implementing project Software Quality Assurance Plans
- 3+ years of experience working autonomously as the lead for quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities
- 3+ years of experience conducting regular system quality audits
- 3+ years of experience reviewing and analyzing system quality data and documentation
- 3+ years of experience authoring test scripts
- 2+ years of experience working in an agile environment
- 2+ years of experience creating test scripts for UAT
- Strong experience working in an agile environment
- Experience analyzing system documentation and summarizing system functionality
- Experience working across multiple projects
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Good understanding of basic system technologies related to project deliverables
