About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development of innovative, analytical, high-quality products and services across multiple projects
  • Perform advanced quantitative and economic analysis of energy and environmental markets
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of ICF proprietary models and databases
  • Evaluate the impact of future regulation and support client strategies to manage change
  • Write analysis for major corporate and government clients’ deliverables
  • Support research synthesis reports, industry benchmarking, quantitative analysis, and policy summaries
  • Contribute to business development, marketing, thought leadership, market research, data analysis, and marketing content

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours is required in Energy, Policy, Climate, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Operations Research, Engineering, or related field
  • U.S. Citizenship is required per Federal contracts
  • By start date, acceptance/enrollment verification, or at least 9 credit hours of completed graduate-level courses in a related field
  • Strong interest in energy economics, energy finance, climate, greenhouse gas accounting, operations research, and energy policy analysis
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical personnel
  • Basic knowledge of R, Python and/or other coding languages
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and capabilities in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Working knowledge of US energy markets, policies, and technology
