About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support project teams across multiple environmental planning projects
  • Interact and potentially collaborate with clients, senior staff, internal and external experts, and stakeholders
  • Assist with and complete project tasks related to accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services
  • Review and assist with authoring technical analyses and sections of environmental documents
  • Collect, enter, and analyze data
  • Review literature with strong attention to detail
  • Solve quantitative and qualitative problems
  • Support administrative record needs accurately
  • Support subject matter experts and project teams with research, administrative, and related tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • By start date, at least 30 college-level credit hours completed in environmental studies/science, natural or physical science, public policy, environmental law, or related subjects
  • Preferred: completed bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred: acceptance/enrollment verification or at least 9 completed graduate-level credit hours in a related subject by the start date
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask under strict deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to succeed with new and challenging tasks
  • Ability to identify and meet client needs within established guidelines
  • Understanding of task expectations and how tasks fit into the overall project
  • Ability to collaborate with project teams and clients to achieve established goals
  • Ability to organize written work clearly and tailor it to the intended audience
