About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of energy efficiency programs
  • Coordinate and support program activities, events, tasks, and deliverables
  • Conduct research and analyze market trends, customer segments, competitive landscapes, and energy efficiency equipment
  • Evaluate market potential, program growth opportunities, and distributor, contractor, and trade ally networks
  • Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, Marketing, IT, Customer Care, and other cross-functional teams
  • Develop outreach, sales, customer targeting, decarbonization, equity and affordability, lead generation, and value proposition strategies
  • Prepare and maintain reports, schedules, meeting minutes, client presentations, technical specifications, calculations, and program documentation
  • Summarize findings and present actionable recommendations
  • Provide administrative and communications support
  • Identify and develop program opportunities advancing clients’ clean energy goals
  • Review processes and recommend efficiency and delivery improvements
  • Engage participating service providers and gather information for program improvement
  • Support field-based staff and participating Trade Allies
  • Communicate with contractors, customers, and consultants
  • Resolve or escalate customer and contractor concerns
  • Track contractor enrollment and support QA/QC standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Project Management, Energy Management, or a related field
  • Must be able to pass any required background checks, which may include drug screening
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Work Authorization is required
  • A completed bachelor’s degree and enrollment verification or 9 credits completed in a graduate program in a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational, time management, task prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and collaborative communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience with program coordination, documentation, research, data collection, market analysis, or sales planning projects
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Query, or VBA
  • Interest in energy efficiency, market research, and sales strategy
  • Familiarity with HVAC, water heating, space heating, kitchen equipment, or lighting technologies is a plus
