About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with domain leads and teams across multiple disciplines to support ongoing tasks and ad-hoc needs
  • Support research and analysis on utility programs, emerging energy technologies, distributed energy resources (DERs), virtual power plants (VPPs), electrification, and related areas
  • Develop dashboards, presentations, and visualizations that support business strategy and client delivery
  • Support product development and commercialization initiatives for innovative energy solutions
  • Assist with business development activities, proposal support, and strategic planning efforts
  • Synthesize complex information into concise summaries and recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 30 completed college-level credit hours and actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
  • Candidate must be a US citizen, reside in the U.S., and be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Preferred: a completed bachelor’s degree and enrollment verification in a master’s program or 9 credit hours complete in graduate coursework in Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with data analytics, visualization, or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel Power Query, or similar platforms
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) for research, analysis, or content development
  • Interest in emerging energy technologies, including distributed energy resources, battery storage, load flexibility, demand response, and electrification
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks; strong time management, analytical, and interpersonal skills
