About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take detailed notes during internal and client-facing meetings and distribute summaries and action items
  • Assist in drafting and designing pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and client-facing materials
  • Develop and update marketing and sales content, including website and social media posts, success stories, and capability statements
  • Research government and private-sector targets, funding opportunities, and procurement forecasts
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, market positioning, and program performance
  • Maintain CRM entries, track leads, and update pursuit status reports
  • Collaborate with business development leads, proposal managers, and technical experts on messaging and strategy
  • Assist with documents and materials for presentations
  • Support special projects for the division

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours in public policy, writing, government, business or related field
  • Interest in government contracting, consulting, environmental studies, energy, disaster recovery, or resilience preferred
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Experience conducting research, organizing, and analyzing information
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skill in SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to making a difference through work in environment, energy, and social justice
