About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Research market actors, solutions, and opportunities for national offerings within the Division
  • Work in custom-built SharePoint sites to support multiple content projects
  • Assist solution experts and Inside Sales Representatives with updating, uploading, and organizing solution content
  • Analyze market opportunities and identify leads using various tactics
  • Assist in creating and maintaining documents and presentation materials
  • Complete special projects
  • Gain exposure to the energy industry, emerging utility solutions, market actors, inside sales, and partner management
  • Report to the Director of Offerings Solutions and Sales

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • By start date, at least 15 credit hours in marketing, business administration, economics, environmental studies, communications, sales, or another related discipline
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to learn new things quickly
  • Experience conducting research, organizing, and analyzing information
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skill in SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or Environmental Studies
  • Commitment to making a difference through work in environment, energy, and social justice
  • Application must be submitted directly by the applicant
  • Must be available for the 10-week summer internship beginning in early June and ending in early August
