About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage concurrent survey-related projects and serve as the key client contact
- Prepare project plans, manage schedules, and monitor performance
- Create and track project budgets
- Coordinate workstreams, dependencies, actions, and escalations
- Coordinate internal collaborators, subcontractors, and vendors
- Manage cross-matrixed professional teams and support collaboration
- Provide methodological and technical guidance for quantitative data collection projects
- Provide methodological and technical guidance for qualitative research, including cognitive interviews, one-on-one interviews, and focus groups
- Develop project quality assurance protocols and ensure quality of data, reports, and presentations
- Write proposals, analytic reports, issue papers, briefings, and correspondence
- Develop and cultivate client relationships
- Anticipate risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Update leadership on project progress
- Participate in business development, proposal management, and proposal-section writing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of applied experience in the survey research field
- 2+ years of experience in survey project management, including coordinating teams and tasks, tracking completion of activities, managing schedules, monitoring project budget, and ensuring quality of work products
- 2+ years of experience with MS Office products—Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or professional skills
- Experience managing and advancing multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to take ownership of work, independently drive tasks forward, and recognize when issues require escalation
- Demonstrated customer service orientation and professionalism in providing client support
- 1+ year experience conducting and analyzing qualitative research preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Experience in quantitative data analysis and statistical software such as R, Python, SPSS, or SAS
- Experience in proposal writing and/or budget development
- Proficiency in Spanish or another foreign language is a plus
