About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and monitor the client and server systems landscape
- Monitor and maintain networks and domains
- Monitor and design IT security measures
- Maintain thorough documentation of the IT infrastructure
- Administer and support an environment comprising Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, TrueNAS, and JIRA
- Plan technically functional workstations
- Analyze internal clients’ IT needs and develop suitable solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Professional experience required
- Experience in the professional administration of IT systems; career changers are welcome
- Enthusiasm for client and server hardware, with a willingness to stay up to date with the latest technologies
- Experience or the ability to plan technically functional workstations
- A good understanding of must-have and nice-to-have requirements
- Ability to understand internal clients’ IT needs and develop appropriate solutions
- Hands-on mentality
- Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, certificates, and PowerShell
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Business-fluent German (at least B2 level)
