About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain Guest Service according to company standards
Greet and acknowledge every Guest and maintain a Guest-friendly environment
Maintain product knowledge and awareness of merchandise promotions and advertisements
Assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise
Participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock
Follow company policies and procedures, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions and maintain cash and media accountabilities at POS registers
Communicate Guest requests to management
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat
Prolonged periods of standing, with climbing stairs multiple times a day
Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times
Ability to communicate in English to associates and guests
Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present
Ability to work in an unheated building
Willing to live in a remote, rural community
Comfortable traveling by small plane or ferry to and from a remote setting
Able to walk and/or drive on gravel roads in inclement weather
Seasonal availability (April–October)
Ability to work extended hours during the season
