About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain the facility and grounds based on community objectives
Safely operate, maintain, and repair on-site equipment
Complete apartment turnovers, including painting, carpentry, drywall patch/repair, appliance maintenance, and detailed make-ready checklists
Respond to work orders in a timely manner, including after-hours on-call maintenance requests
Participate in the Maintenance Team's on-call rotation
Inspect public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards are achieved and sustained
Keep storage areas, tools, and equipment secure
Maintain company policy compliance and a high level of customer service
Participate in training workshops and safety meetings as necessary

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years relevant maintenance experience required
Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
Must be able to work 8-12 hour standing shifts
Must be able to work weekends
Must be available for on-call emergencies
Must be able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Compliance with health, safety and OSHA programs, policies, and procedures
