About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct outreach to recruit families for IDRA Education CAFEs for College Access sessions through phone calls, emails, in-person engagement and community networking
- Build and maintain relationships with community members and partner organizations
- Identify and engage a minimum of three to four families per session
- Distribute outreach materials and share information about upcoming events
- Track outreach efforts and participation using simple reporting tools
- Support event coordination as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable engaging with diverse communities
- Organized and reliable, with the ability to work independently
- Prior outreach, community engagement or customer-facing experience preferred
- Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills are a plus, but not required
- Availability for 5-10 hours per week, up to 10 hours/week during the first month
- Temporary 3-month duration, with potential for extension
