About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate operational activities supporting STAR-led transformation initiatives, organizational improvement efforts, and enterprise engagement activities
- Lead coordination and operational support for organizational improvement programs, engagement campaigns, conferences, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships, executive communication, deliverable oversight, issue escalation, operational alignment, and stakeholder accountability
- Coordinate operational planning, governance workflows, implementation timelines, reporting processes, and execution activities
- Monitor operational performance, initiative progress, stakeholder commitments, execution risks, transformation activities, deliverables, and implementation objectives
- Oversee transformation communications, engagement activities, program updates, resource distribution, and communication workflows
- Maintain operational repositories, governance tools, communication systems, workflow resources, standardized processes, collaboration platforms, vendor-supported systems, and transformation infrastructure
- Coordinate executive support activities including leadership reporting, presentation materials, initiative communications, meetings, accountability tracking, and follow-through
- Sustain visual management systems, huddle boards, mission control environments, operational dashboards, and transformation infrastructure
- Develop and maintain coordination systems, implementation workflows, governance processes, reporting cadences, procurement support, budget coordination, and sustainment processes
- Conduct operational research, program assessments, and organizational analysis; develop recommendations and operational insights
- Apply systems thinking and continuous improvement principles to improve operational effectiveness and transformation capabilities
- Perform other duties as required to support Health Plan operations and department needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Five (5) years of demonstrated experience at a professional level in enterprise operations, transformation operations, program management, organizational improvement, operational excellence and/or cross-functional initiative coordination
- Experience leading or coordinating complex enterprise initiatives, governance activities, stakeholder engagement, operational planning, and execution management within a matrixed organization environment
- Experience developing and sustaining operational workflows, governance processes, standard work, communication systems, and enterprise support infrastructure
- Prior healthcare experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Advanced knowledge of enterprise transformation operations, organizational improvement systems, and continuous improvement principles
- Knowledge of operational planning, governance coordination, stakeholder management, and execution oversight
- Knowledge of enterprise program coordination, operational workflows, and organizational engagement strategies
- Knowledge of Lean Transformation, systems thinking, operational excellence, and organizational change principles
- Knowledge of executive communication, presentation development, and operational reporting methodologies
- Knowledge of visual management systems, Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI), standard work, and operational reporting
- Ability to develop operational workplans, governance structures, communication materials, and implementation frameworks
- Ability to coordinate multiple enterprise initiatives and operational activities simultaneously
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination skills
- Ability to analyze and document complex business processes using process modeling tools such as Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to manage competing priorities within aggressive timelines and evolving organizational environments
- Ability to influence and collaborate with executive leadership, operational stakeholders, facilitators, and cross-functional teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, operational leaders, frontline teams, and external stakeholders
- Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Certified trainer or group facilitator preferred
