About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned managers and teams, translating their needs into people-focused solutions
- Support managers through organisational and team changes, advising on people implications and established frameworks and processes
- Support workforce planning initiatives, including organisational design, job levelling, succession planning, and career pathways
- Develop management capability through coaching, guidance, and proactive partnership
- Manage employee relations cases end-to-end and escalate complex or high-risk matters as appropriate
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, balancing legal and commercial considerations with company culture and values
- Maintain accurate employee relations records, documentation, and case files
- Guide hiring managers through recruitment for entry-level through management positions
- Support end-to-end recruitment processes across the business
- Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Support implementation and optimisation of the recruitment target operating model
- Support adoption and utilisation of Culture Amp and Pinpoint
- Assist with probation and annual performance review cycles
- Support managers in developing high-performing teams through CTG and BTG frameworks
- Produce regular employee relations and recruitment MI reports for the Senior Manager and Director
- Analyse trends, identify risks, and highlight areas requiring intervention
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in a People & Culture or HR generalist role covering business partnering, employee relations, and recruitment, ideally within a fast-paced fintech or financial services environment
- Demonstrable experience managing employee relations cases from initiation through to resolution
- Recruitment delivery experience, including managing end-to-end hiring processes across a variety of roles
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility and influence managers at all levels
- Sound knowledge of employment law and its practical application within a commercial environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in relation to case management, documentation, and reporting
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, growth mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
