About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage strategic Residential Solar sales and installation partner relationships for operational and financial success
  • Support new partner onboarding through operations, product, and new market training
  • Advise partners and internal teams on installation quality expectations, program requirements, and corrective actions
  • Identify, research, and resolve partner issues
  • Compile reports and dashboards covering cancellation rates, milestone durations, project quality, operational efficiency, and other performance metrics
  • Oversee solar project reviews for underwriting, installation quality, and commissioning compliance
  • Escalate and resolve complex or non-standard projects
  • Identify recurring quality issues and trends and address root causes with partners
  • Develop and maintain QA standards, checklists, and review criteria
  • Lead the Solar QA and Operations team, including day-to-day management, training, growth, and development
  • Assist the team with operational responsibilities
  • Develop team members and support their career growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Working knowledge of Residential Solar PV systems and installation practices; familiarity with ESS preferred
  • Strong understanding of the solar interconnection process
  • Ability to review and interpret project documentation, project plan sets, shade reports, and installation photos
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Drive for results, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to adapt, evolve, and thrive in an ever-changing environment
  • Exceptional organizational and document management skills with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and master new technologies
  • Ability to manage dozens of sales and installation partnerships, multiple projects, and competing priorities in a fast-paced industry
  • 5+ years of experience in Residential Solar installation, operations, QA/QC, or a related function
  • Experience leading a team and managing external partners
  • Familiarity with Aurora Solar or EagleView preferred
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
