About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute manual test cases for SAP, MES, and OT applications.
Verify applications meet specified functional requirements and quality standards.
Perform thorough testing across features and functionalities.
Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scripts.
Design test scenarios based on functional specifications and business requirements.
Ensure adequate test coverage for assigned functionalities.
Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies.
Provide clear and detailed defect reports, including reproduction steps.
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.
Participate in test planning, preparation, execution, and reporting activities.
Support testing throughout the application lifecycle.
Work with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
Translate business and functional requirements into effective test scenarios.
Provide feedback on quality issues and potential risks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Support QA best practices and stay updated with relevant QA trends, tools, and industry practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in manual software testing.
Experience with SAP, MES, and/or OT applications will be considered an advantage.
Previous experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban) will be considered a plus.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing processes, and principles.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools and test management software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think critically and identify potential issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly document and communicate testing findings.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of test automation tools and techniques is preferred.
