About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conceptualizes, writes, produces, directs, shoots and edits modern and dynamic videos for internal and external clients

  • Provides consultation and operates video and audio technologies to support offsite meetings, conferences and livestreaming of events for Illinois Farm Bureau and its Family of Companies
  • Assists with video production and meeting staging needs for the IFB annual meeting
  • Collaborates with Member Services and Public Relations division, meeting venue staff and outside vendors
  • Collaborates with internal contacts and coordinates with external vendors to anticipate and meet video and audio technology needs
  • Manages, shoots and edits video projects from concept through completion
  • Produces long-form horizontal productions and short-form vertical reels
  • Handles multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Works on solo projects and contributes to larger team productions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
  • Normal office environment
  • Regularly uses computer and mouse
  • Regularly lifts/carries 10-20 pounds of equipment; occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
  • Regularly sits, stands, bends, and stoops in a studio or field environment
  • May be exposed to seasonal weather on occasion for outdoor video shoots
  • Regular travel throughout Illinois required, including occasional overnight trips
  • Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to attend relevant meetings and fulfill job responsibilities throughout Illinois
  • Work occasionally extends beyond normal business hours, including some evening and weekend hours
  • Illinois Farm Bureau does not generally sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
