About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, optimize, and maintain games using PixiJS
Work closely with designers and artists to implement animations, effects, and UI interactions
Optimize WebGL-based games for performance, memory usage, and cross-browser compatibility

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in frontend/web development
3+ years of hands-on experience with PixiJS and WebGL
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
Proven experience in the gambling/iGaming industry is required
Hands-on experience using AI tools in the development workflow
Experience optimizing WebGL applications for performance and memory usage
Strong knowledge of game loops, animations, and tweening
Experience with texture optimization, sprite batching, and particle systems
Experience debugging WebGL rendering issues using tools like Spector.js
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with game networking and real-time multiplayer technologies (WebSockets, WebRTC)
Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Lighthouse, WebGL Inspector, or PixiJS DevTools
Experience integrating PixiJS applications with backend services and cloud APIs
Experience developing mobile-friendly, touch-optimized experiences
Prior experience in casual game development, interactive ads, or digital experiences
