About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the team by gaining proficiency in key systems
  • Perform basic, low-complexity certificate of insurance reviews, including non-broad form General Liability endorsements
  • Report compliance to agents and clients
  • Use Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, TrustLayer, and myCOI for daily tasks and client review processes
  • Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Complete assigned tasks within departmental turnaround times and quality standards
  • Perform essential role functions within an IMA office environment 0–50% of the time

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to quickly learn internal systems, including TrustLayer and myCOI
  • Basic knowledge of General Liability, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and other business-related insurance policies preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort learning and using new software and technologies
  • Ability to review information carefully and accurately
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify issues, ask relevant questions, and seek guidance
  • Initiative in completing tasks and pursuing learning opportunities
  • Collaborative team orientation

  • Flexibility in adjusting to new systems, processes, or client demands
