About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Expand understanding of US Immigration Law using firm-provided resources and training
  • Develop understanding of requirements and case processing for H-1B, TN, B, and L non-immigrant visas
  • Draft and organize forms and documents as directed by the Team Manager
  • Communicate with clients regarding visa instructions, approval notices, and welcome packages alongside attorneys and senior team members
  • Assist legal and administrative teams in requesting and organizing documents for new processes
  • Process and organize government correspondence, including receipt notices, approval notices, and requests for evidence
  • Enter data accurately and consistently into internal data management platforms
  • Work on other projects as directed by the Team Manager or attorney
  • Prepare and file cases for non-immigrant and immigrant visa applications

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
  • 3-5 years of business immigration law experience required
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, critical and quantitative thinking skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize office software accurately and efficiently
  • Willingness to adapt to and embrace updates in office technology
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Cover letter, resume, and writing sample required for application
